Who these terms are between
This is an agreement between you and E2GO games ("we", "us") — a small indie studio. If you're under 18, please play with your parent or guardian's permission.
Your licence to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Wordglade on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment. That's it — the licence covers the usual non-commercial use you'd expect from a game.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source art, words, music, or level data from the game.
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the game.
- Modify the client to bypass purchases, ads, or rate limits.
- Use automated tools to farm hints or scrape the word database.
- Use the game to harass other people (though we haven't built any way to — there's no chat).
Streaming the game, making let's-plays, sharing screenshots, and writing reviews are all fine and encouraged. If you monetize a video or stream, that's your business, not ours.
Purchases, refunds, and hints
Wordglade is free to play from the first level to the last. Optional purchases include hint packs (reveal a letter, shuffle the wheel, show a word) and a one-time Remove ads upgrade.
All purchases are processed by your platform store (Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam, Microsoft Store). We don't see your card details. The store handles receipts and taxes.
Hints are digital goods consumed inside the game. Once spent, they're gone — just like in any other game. The Remove ads upgrade is tied to your store account; restore it on a new device via Settings → Restore purchases.
Your account
You don't need an account to play. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping the login info safe. If you think someone else has access, change your password in the app and email us — we'll help.
You can close your account any time in Settings → Account → Delete. Deleting the account removes your cloud save; local progress on your device stays until you uninstall.
Content we provide
The game's words, definitions, art, music, and code are owned by E2GO games or licensed from our partners. Dictionary definitions are adapted from public-domain and open-licensed sources, with editorial changes. Typefaces are used under their respective licences.
Changes to the game
We'll keep adding worlds, words, and fixes. Sometimes a feature gets retired — we try to give fair notice in-app and always preserve your progress across updates.
If we fundamentally change how the game works, we'll flag it clearly before you update.
Warranty & liability
The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We can't promise it will be bug-free, or that a specific word will be in the dictionary, or that your phone won't run out of battery while you play.
Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights where we can't legally exclude them — for example, the right to a refund for a faulty digital good under EU or UK law.
If we disagree
First, please write to support@wordglade.com. We've never failed to resolve a dispute by email. If that doesn't work, these terms are governed by the laws of the country where E2GO games is registered, and any formal claim goes to the courts there — unless your local consumer law gives you the right to sue where you live (in which case it does).
Changes to these terms
If we update the terms in a meaningful way, we'll show a notice in the app before the change takes effect, so you can read and decide. Small edits (wording, formatting) are logged at the bottom of this page.
